Belynda and Clark picked the hilltops overlooking Pokeno for their wedding day; the family farm with stunning views over the Valley. A lake was even drained to water the grass for the marquee and keep it green over the Summer months...such a perfect spot! Of course, the biggest rain storm of the Summer never paid attention to these well laid plans, and after drought like conditions leading up the day, she decided it would be a great idea to add her own rain clouds to the watering effort and burst onto the scene with a 90% chance of rain for the afternoon. With 30 minutes to spare, the chairs were moved outside, the clouds grew light, and Belynda + Clark got to celebrate the wedding of their dreams with an hour to spare before the storm unleashed her first drops. Fairy lights replaced the hiding stars, food trucks served the goods and one of the best bands I've heard played well into the night after I left. Clark + Belynda - it was awesome to see your love and story-tell the day with you!
